On Sunday, January 17, help us share Japanese New Year's customs with the community. We need volunteers for calligraphy, origami, New Year's games and performances, and more! Volunteers receive free admission to the event. Contact cori@jasdfw.org.
Congratulations to Ambassador Schieffer!
On November 12, Ambassador J. Thomas Schieffer received the Eagle on the World Award from the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New York. This award is bestowed on individuals who have dedicated their lives to fostering and improving relations between the United States and Japan. Ambassdor Schieffer, a Fort Worth native, is a member of the JASDFW Advisory Council.
